Fall Training Classes & Workshops

Registration is open for SPARC’s fall 2023 classes and workshops. We’ve even launched a jumpstart on registration for our spring 2024 classes! Highlights of SPARC’s Training Classes this year include FREE Pop-Up classes, Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical Jr. in our Showstoppers class, tech theatre workshops, longer class sessions, and more. Use the button below to see a detailed schedule of offerings and enroll online.

SPARC’s award-winning performing arts classes are designed to help young people ages 4 to 18 thrive through a youth-centered approach to topics like acting, storytelling, dance, singing, improvisation, technical theatre, and more. Automated payment plans and scholarships are available.

How do we decide where to start at SPARC?

If a person is brand-new to performing arts, we suggest choosing a Level One training class that aligns with their age group in school. This will provide exposure to arts learning with peers and prepare them for more extensive opportunities in their future.

Not all classes will be listed as Level One or Level Two. This means the class is open to youth with all levels of experience!

What is the difference between Level One and Level Two courses?

Level One classes are designed for youth with all levels of experience in theatre or performance. Youth are welcome to enroll in level one classes at any time and can continue to participate in them for as long as they’d like!

Level Two classes are created for youth who have at least one year’s previous experience in theatre or performance. Examples of previous experience might include other SPARC programs (camps, classes, productions, etc.) and activities that youth have explored outside of SPARC, too (school plays and choirs, dance classes, private instruction in vocal performance, faith-based choirs or dance groups, etc.).

Enjoy A Class From Home!

We are excited to share some free virtual SPARC classes with you and your family.  The short lessons included below provide a small glimpse into what it’s like to take a SPARC class.  Enjoy!

STORY TIME

These craft and story time videos are a fun way to connect storytelling and art! First, we’ll read a book. Then, we’ll teach you to use everyday materials you have at home to complete a fun activity that you’ll be proud to have made.
